On Friday, February 1st, staff from the Bradford County Humane Society presented information about their shelter and brought pets to the Towanda Senior Center residents. Part of Bradford County Humane Society's mission is to educate the public on proper care for their pets as well as humane education.
"We really enjoy visiting Senior Centers and local businesses. It gets our pets out for awhile during the day and allows us to answer questions that anyone might have about our animal shelter," states Jennifer L. Spencer, BCHS Executive Director.
Fritz, a Beagle mix and a cat named Neeka attended the presentation as well. Both are available for adoption and would make loving pets in any home.
If you are interested in having a presentation from BCHS at your business, please contact Jennifer at 570-888-2114.
The Bradford County Humane Society is a United Way agency.
