Another Long Term BCHS Dog Finds a Home

Last week, the Bradford County Humane Society reported that Patty, a long term resident dog was adopted into a loving family. Patty is doing very well in her new home.

Kenny, a hound mix that had been at BCHS for over a year found his forever home as well last week.

Lisa Stewart from Georgia was up in the Sayre area visiting her parents when she decided to stop into BCHS to take a look at their animals. "As soon as I saw Kenny outside I just knew that it was meant to be. I just lost my Dalmatian due to old age and have always rescued dogs," stated Stewart.

Stewart came in a few times to see Kenny and worked with BCHS Dog Trainer, Mike Norris.

Kenny will have such a good home in Georgia. Stewart plans on taking him to the local dog park daily.

"It warms my heart so much to see these dogs find good homes after being at our shelter for so long. There are many more that need loving, caring people to open their hearts and homes to a shelter pet," states Jennifer L. Spencer, BCHS Executive Director.

BCHS has many dogs and cats that are available for adoption. Stop in to see their pets - you just might find your new best friend.

BCHS is a United Way Agency.
