Local Author/ Dog Trainer Holds Book Signings

Local dog trainer and author, Joseph Buttito recently held a book signing at the Wyalusing Public Library on Saturday, January 7th. His recent book, “No Fences,” is an inspirational guide to developing human and K-9 relationships. Part of the proceeds from the book sales went to both the Wyalusing Public Library and the Bradford County Humane Society. Buttito has been a huge supporter of the Humane Society for years, working as their dog trainer in the past.

Many were in attendance at the book signing, including dog lovers of all ages, and even some canines themselves. Bradford County Humane Society Officer Hawbaker represented the Bradford County Humane Society along with Nicholas, a puppy that was up for adoption. A couple who came to the book signing fell in love with this puppy, and in turn adopted him and gave him a loving, caring home. “This was truly a happy ending for Nicholas who had been at the shelter over a month, during the holidays. The staff named him Nicholas, as in St. Nicholas as he came in during Christmastime", states Hawbaker.

Next stop on the book signing tour is the Bradford County Library, the date is to be determined.

All are welcome to learn more about the author and bring your four-legged friends!
