Athens HS History Club Donates to BCHS

Students from the Athens High School History Club recently held a fundraiser through The Make A Difference Campaign for the Bradford County Humane Society.

Students sold memberships of Make A Difference Cards with savings at various local businesses in the Valley. For each membership card purchased a portion of the proceeds was donated to BCHS to assist with the care of their homeless animals. Businesses such as Agway, Bri Marie Inn, Horns True Value and many others offer huge discounts with these Make A Difference Cards.

Over $200 was raised through this fundraiser to support the Bradford County Humane Society.

"We are so thankful to theses students for thinking of our homeless animals that are in need. The Make A Difference Program is a wonderful asset to our shelter," stated Jennifer L. Spencer, BCHS Executive Director.

For any Make A Difference membership card purchased for our area, a portion will be donated to BCHS.
