Shaylee Greenland, a fourth grade student from Towanda, held her 10th birthday party recently. Instead of gifts for herself, she wanted to have her attendees bring gifts for the Bradford County Humane Society. On October 31st, close to 25 people attended her birthday party and brought many items such as dog food, cat food, cat litter, bog biscuits and bleach for BCHS.
"We are so appreciative for Shaylee to have held this party for our shelter animals. She and her friends and family did a great job!", stated Jennifer L. Spencer, BCHS Executive Director.
The shelter pets are always in need of the items that Shaylee and her guests brought. If you would like to have a fundraiser for BCHS and would like more information, contact Jennifer at 570-888-2114.
