Photo: Neeka and Boo, two cats who have been waiting patiently for homes for many months. Neeka is an adult spayed female and Boo is an 8 month old neutered male. Both are mellow sweethearts who would feel very lucky if they get adopted.

The contest is open through noon on February 20, 2013. Select BCHS as your Petfinder member when submitting your story. The voting period will start on February 21 and visitors can vote once a day for animals throughout the contest, with the voting period ending March 18, 2013. Let us know that you entered so we can encourage our supporters to vote for your lucky pet!
The luckiest pet with the most votes will win a $500 gift card to Petco and a $5,000 donation in their name to the designated organization.
