Local Boy Holds Birthday Fundraiser for BCHS
Dawson Brown, a student at Northeast Bradford School, is truly selfless. For his recent birthday on November 8th, he decided he would have a birthday party. However, instead of receiving gifts from his friends, he wanted the partygoers to donate to the Bradford County Humane Society. 75 people attended his birthday party held on November 10th. Donated items included dog food, cat food, cat litter, bleach, dog toys, stuffed animals and other supplies.
BCHS relies on the community for 80% of its funding throughout the year. If it weren't for people like Dawson, the animal shelter would have a difficult time surviving.
A huge thank you goes out to Dawson Brown for helping the shelter animals!
BCHS encourages anyone to hold a fundraiser for the shelter. Birthday parties, church outings, family fundraisers, and business fundraisers are only some of the many ways that you can help your local Humane Society.
