Sheshequinn-Ulster Students Help BCHS

The Sheshequin-Ulster Elementary School in Ulster recently held a fundraiser for the Bradford County Humane Society. Instead of doing gift exchanges at school, they collected donations of pet food, cat litter, toys, and supplies for the animal shelter. Monetary donations were also collected.

On Wednesday, December 21st BCHS Community Coordinator Jennifer L. Spencer, Humane Office Hawbaker and Kennel Attendant Katherine Baker brought two shelter dogs, JJ and Judd to visit the students and talk about the importance of caring for your pets and a day in the life of a shelter animal. The students enjoyed petting the dogs and learning more about the shelter.

BCHS would like to thank these students and teachers for their generosity during the holiday season.
