Students Make Cat Tower For BCHS

Ashton and Dillon Wood of Sayre, PA recently had to do a student project for their home schooling. They decided to make a cat tower for the Bradford County Humane Society. With the assistance of their "Poppy," Merle Yale, they constructed a very sturdy cat tower and donated it for the shelter's free roaming cat room.

The Woods are long time supporters of BCHS and have adopted from BCHS before. Two years ago they adopted what they thought was a Chihuahua breed and it now weighs over 35 pounds. At the shelter, the puppy was part of a hoarding situation, and was very small.

"We are so thankful for them for making this cat tower for our cats. They really enjoy it!," states Jennifer L. Spencer, BCHS Executive Director.

She is friendly and likes to be petted but does not care to be picked up. She is quiet and clean and well behaved. Rosa is an independent cat who will be good company without being cuddly.
