Wyalusing Student Conducts Senior Project at BCHS

Many local high school seniors need to perform a senior project in order to graduate. The Bradford County Humane Society receives many students that come to the shelter to walk dogs, socialize cats, even help to clean the shelter.

Lydia Wildrick, a Wylusing High School Senior, decided to do something more involved. She created videos of particular dogs and cats that have been at the shelter for a longer period of time. She posted some of the videos on youtube to give BCHS and those shelter animals more exposure.

Lydia and her entire family have been long term supporters and volunteers of BCHS. "Lydia worked really hard on her senior project and we are so appreciate of her fantastic work! We are thankful to all volunteers and supporters that choose to help our shelter animals in many ways," states Jennifer L. Spencer, Bradford County Humane Society Executive Director.

Photo Lydia Wildrick and Ziggy, a long term resident available for adoption at BCHS. Ziggy is an adult spayed female Terrier - Shepherd mix. She is a very friendly, lovey, waggy girl. Ziggy knows sit and down, is excellent on a leash, will stay for 5 minutes and has had some agility training. She is playful and she likes everyone. Ziggy needs a home with no other pets and no livestock. She is a great watchdog. Ziggy will bond with her new family and be extremely loyal and protective. She would be perfect guardian for a single woman and would love to find a person who likes to run or take long walks. Ziggy has been at the shelter a long time and deserves to find a nice home.
